It all started in the early 80's when my dad had a Chicago music store that sold guitars and records, if you can believe that. Rather than go to college I decided to focus on just instrument sales and expanded our little store minus the records.

Playing in bands I found the need for recording our demo. This was where I found my niche. I fell in love with the equipment, the shine of the microphones, the smell of the tubes. Music ToyShop then decided to remove the instruments from our sales room and dedicate ourselves to being a pro audio dealer.
Flash forward into the future as the internet takes over, and internet sales roar. We decided to expand to the internet and reach the entire world.
